Privacy

Your data, on the record.

Effective 2026-07-13 · arkonhq.com, the website. The Arkon platform ships its own data-processing terms with the product.

The short version

This site collects one thing you type — the email address you give the waitlist — and runs privacy-preserving analytics that store nothing on your device unless you opt in below. No ad trackers, no resale, no sequence. One email when it's your turn; that's the deal.

What we collect

Waitlist signups. Your email address, stored in a database we run on our own infrastructure — not a third-party marketing platform. Used solely to contact you about Arkon access, in order.

Analytics. We use PostHog, self-served through our own domain, to understand which pages get read: one event when a page opens and one when you leave it (that pair is how long-enough-to-read is measured). Beyond that: one event when a waitlist signup completes, so we know the form works, and one when you change the analytics setting below, so your choice is recorded. That is the complete list of events. Each event carries what a browser tells any site: the page URL and referrer (including any campaign tags in the address), browser and device type, language, timezone, and screen size, plus an anonymous identifier so one visit's events hang together. Your network address is not among them — our proxy replaces it before anything leaves our infrastructure. By default it all runs in memory-only mode: no cookies, no localStorage, nothing written to your device — each visit is a fresh, anonymous visitor. If you want your return visits counted as one visitor, you can opt in below; that stores an analytics identifier on this device until you withdraw.

Operational logs. Standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) retained briefly for abuse prevention and debugging, then discarded.

Analytics on your terms

What we don't do

No advertising trackers. No selling or sharing of your address. No newsletter you didn't ask for. If any of that changes, this page changes first — with the date above updated.

Your rights (POPIA & GDPR)

Arkon is built in South Africa, so POPIA applies; if you're in the EU, the GDPR does too. Ask what we hold, ask for correction, or ask for deletion — one email to [email protected] does it. Deletion removes you from the waitlist permanently.
